The bezelless screen eliminates the industrial look of traditional projection screens and its ambient light rejection (ALR) screen material facilitates its installation into a variety of environments.
“Edge free implies the absence of the traditional frame that borders the edge of fixed-projection screens. This concept has been rapidly gaining in popularity and involves a projection screen in which the entire footprint is the projection surface, as opposed to an image boxed up in a frame as seen with your typical filmscreen,” points out David Rodgers, marketing manager for Elite Screens, Inc. “The eFinity design incorporates this beautiful new look with an award-winning PolarStar ALR material and the results are fantastic.”

The eFinity offers custom installers an edgeless screen solution that incorporates an aluminum frame with its PolarStar 5D ambient ALR silver/gray screen material that offers a gain of 1.3 and a 140-degree viewing angle. Through its ALR technologies, the screen material preserves image fidelity in dark rooms and settings that include ambient light.
The screen maintains 92 percent polarization for 3D applications and it is compatible with a range of video formats, including 4K, 1080p, 720p, WXGA and XGA to support its use in residential and commercial installations.
Elite Prime Vision ships the screen with its detachable LED backlighting kit that provides homeowners with a choice of 16 color options and four mode settings that are remote controllable. Elite offers the screen in a 16:9 aspect ratio and a choice of screen sizes.
