Epson is one of the largest projector manufacturers in the entire world and the company designs and produces everything from top-of-the-line home theater products, to portable projectors for business applications.
The Skinny: Adding to its vast selection of commercial products, the company has announced its PowerLite Pro Z Series, which includes a choice of nine models.
The Specs: Epson says the line of products are engineered to produce high brightness levels — up to 11,000 lumens — and resolutions up to WUXGA with full 1080p support.
The company says the products can be used for a variety of system installations and include a choice of connectivity options such as HDMI, DVI, 3G-SDI and HDBaseT that enables the products to transmit video signals over long distances.
“With this new series of PowerLite Pro Z projectors, Epson truly provides installers and end-users with powerful large venue projectors that fulfill their high brightness, high resolution and advanced connectivity needs for almost every type of venue,” notes Sean Gunduz, senior product manager, projectors, Epson America, Inc.
“Whether leveraging the integrated curved edge blending, portrait mode support or 360-degree installation for immersive experiences, the new short-throw lens for tight spaces, or tapping into the latest connectivity options available with HDBaseT, HDMI, DVI and 3G-SDI, the new Pro Z projectors offer something for almost every installation need.”
In addition, the projectors also include options such as rear-status monitoring and control that help dealers to view the products’ status for troubleshooting purposes, and curved edge-blending capabilities, including portrait mode for immersive 360-degree visuals.
Solutions: Epson says dealers can install the projectors into environments that include houses of worship, galleries, digital signage and auditoriums.
