The Skinny: The Tustin, Calif.-based manufacturer says the switcher can serve dealers in a variety of system installations as a solution that can handle any number of A/V formats.
The Specs: Hall Research explains the SC-12BT accommodates four HDMI, four VGA and four A/V inputs, and offers VGA, HDMI and HDBaseT output capabilities. Hall also builds in IP control and an audio amplifier that dealers can use to drive 4- and 8-ohm speakers.

Other control options include a choice of IR, RS-232 and front-panel controls, and though its HDBaseT options, dealers can install the switcher to transmit A/V signals as far as 230 feet over a single Cat-6 cable run.
Solutions: The SC-12BT from Hall Research can be used for audio and video installs that include any combination of HDMI, VGA and audio.
