The new partnership provides resellers with access to flexible, easy-to-deploy video to be added to meeting room audio conferencing calls. Users need only plug a BlinkPipe camera into a TV and traditional meeting room audio conference unit, and it is possible for HD video calls to be instantly made and received.

In addition to the camera, a BlinkPipe Hub cloud service enables group video calls and screen sharing between BlinkPipe hardware, PCs and Macs. Legacy enterprise systems can also connect to the video call via an additional subscription.

RRP prices start from £750 based on upfront and recurring revenue opportunities for dealers. A joint launch event is planned for September 16th at Nimans to provide resellers with a hands-on experience of the innovative technology.

Dave Gwilt, BlinkPipe co-founder, commented: “We believe high quality video gives so much more feedback than voice alone. It can change the outcome of a call. We started BlinkPipe to make it unbelievably simple and cost-effective for businesses to switch to video calling. Working with Nimans will enable us to take the brand to a new level – and most importantly it allows their resellers to capture additional revenue from their own customer bases, or target new areas of activity. As Nimans is one of the biggest distributors of conference phones in the UK there is a strong match between our two companies.”

Paul Burn, head of category sales at Nimans, told Commercial Integrator Europe: “This partnership represents a powerful business alliance with huge market potential for two leading players in their respective fields. This innovative technology from BlinkPipe complements and strengthens our extensive conferencing proposition, and in many ways fills a niche in the market as it offers all our customers the opportunity to embrace the video conferencing market, which for some resellers will be for the first time. We are very confident it will be a resounding success.”
