An upgrade doesn’t always have to come with a bigger price tag. SunBriteTV is releasing a 49-inch model of its Pro Series outdoor display with an identical price point but a significant upgrade over the 47-inch model.

The SB-4917HD, one of SunBriteTV’s first new products since being acquired by SnapAV in late 2015, includes a thinner bezel and a larger media bay featuring self-powered media ports. It is a direct-sunlight readable HD LED 1080p screen with anti-glare.

The robust Pro Series now offers 13 different displays, including the 49-inch model, ranging from 32 inches to 84 inches. The displays are available in both landscape and portrait orientation and include optional touchscreen capability.

As with all SunBriteTV displays, the products are designed for permanent outdoor installations such as menu signage, park directories, or restaurant patios. The Pro Series is tested to withstand rain, snow, dust, insects, salt corrosion and humidity. A tempered glass shield protects the screen from impact and built-in temperature regulation systems guarantee flawless operation between -40 and 122F.

Additional features include:

  • Enhanced Solar Tolerance (EST) technology helps protect from dark spots.
  • Rust-proof, powder-coated aluminum exterior shields the TV’s internal components from outdoor weather.
  • Built-in 5V and 12V power eliminates the need to run external power cords from media players.

The 49-inch Pro Series model will ship in June and be available for $4,295 MSRP. See it at SunBriteTV’s booth (N1347) at InfoComm 2016.
