When you talk about “life-size imagery,” you might expect that there won’t be two long, intrusive seams running perpendicularly across a digital signage display screen. But your standard 2×2 video wall can’t make such a promise.
Those pesky seams aren’t the only con to the 2×2 video wall, the one that uses four panels put together instead of one monitor. Using four smaller individual displays to create a 2×2 wall requires construction of rear mounting, adjustment, calibration and cabling. It is time-consuming, labor-intensive and the costs are higher.
Sharp has a solution to the tired 2×2 design. The company says its new PN-R903 90-inch Professional Monitor is full-HD resolution, has brilliant image quality and was designed to to lead the large-format digital signage market.
“Mount, calibrate and connect,” Sharp says of the easy setup process, developed to take less time, labor, equipment and even energy. Large enough to easily replace a 2×2 46” panel video wall, the PN-R903 offers easy set-up and installation with much less wiring, less equipment and virtually no calibration requirements.
And of course, no inner seams!
