VuWall Technologies, a manufacturer of intelligent visualization and collaboration solutions, announces its expansion into international markets in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
“The increasing demand for VuWall software all over the world has made it necessary for the company to take the next step and invest to support its rapid growth,” said Paul Vander Plaetse, president of VuWall in an earlier press release. “It was necessary to open a presence in Europe dedicated to support the European, Middle East and African countries.”
VuWall has appointed Mark Schmidt and Eric Hénique joint heads of the new European office. Schmidt previously headed the IT development department of Eyevis, a German brand of video solutions, for the last 16 years. Hénique was responsible for international sales and marketing at Eyevis during the last 14 years.
VuWall has also appointed Vic Caruso as VP sales and marketing at the corporate head office in Point-Claire, Quebec. Caruso, who most recently served as regional sales manager at Matrox where he also held positions as director, new business media and director of sales and marketing, now leads sales channel development within the various verticals of the AV industry.
“I am very pleased to welcome three highly capable team members to VuWall,” said Vander Plaetse. “These gentlemen know everything there is to know in this industry. In regards to our European team, Mark has very deep knowledge of control management software, video wall controllers and the AV industry. His contributions will help us develop the most advanced visualization solutions in the market. Also, integrating the know-how of Eric, who has experience building an international network of partners, resellers, offices and subsidiaries from the ground up, will ensure that we become an indispensable brand in the command and control, presentation, information, digital signage and collaboration applications.
