March 1, 2014 is the looming date for when the new FCC rules for cell phone signal boosters kicks in. For integrators, the new rules represent a great new customer service opportunity that will breed even more loyalty with your clients.

In the new FCC rules, cell phone signal boosters cannot interfere with wireless networks, including emergency 911 calls.

The new regulations require customers to obtain approval from their wireless carrier to activate a booster and to register their booster with the carrier.
