AV integration giant AVI-SPL and security software and service firm Unify Square are partnering to co-deliver user experience services to enhance engagement in Microsoft Teams via a global software and managed services package.

According to a joint press release, the package is designed to provide organizations and their employees with the tools and services they need to collaborate virtually with both remote and on-site workers as enterprises transition to a hybrid work model. AVI-SPL and Unify Square will plan, deploy and operate end-to-end managed services for organizations that use Microsoft Teams.

The two firms are combining their offerings to make teamwork easier and reduce the strain on IT resources. The solution includes SaaS tools and 24/7 managed services that enables the customer to choose the type and depth of service they need, according to the announcement.

The solution combines AVI-SPL’s expertise in managed services for meetings and meetings rooms with Unify Square’s skillset with tools and managed services that “improve the user experience of unified communications and collaboration solutions.

According to the companies, this creates a “reliably positive user experience, whether from an on-site meeting room or remote connection; the best Microsoft Teams and Skype for Business monitoring and management solution for the enterprise; cohesive and comprehensive room and user experience service with one service management team for all needs.”

The solution will also handle soft clients, network issues and security policy enforcement.

According to Karen Klosinski, vice president of products and solutions at AVI-SPL, many Microsoft Teams Rooms offerings limit companies to either strong software or robust services.

“Even then, those solutions are focused on either the meeting room or the end user,” Klosinski said in a statement. “AVI-SPL’s solution is unique in that it addresses both the room and user with software and managed services – further enhanced for enterprises with global customer success programs.”

Scott Gode, chief product marketing officer for Unify Square, said in a statement that the COVID-19 pandemic forced 72% of companies to roll out at least one new UCC platform as they transitioned into remote work, causing a strain on employees and IT teams.

“The user experience services we are launching with AVI-SPL will ensure that the enterprise can provide an equally high level of proactive response for both rooms and end-users, regardless of location,” Gode said.
