Samsung 837 Has Mainstream Media Talking About Custom Audio Video

Published: 2016-03-18

The thing about custom AV integration is if you don’t work in the custom AV integration industry you tend to have to constantly explain to everybody what custom AV integration is—even to your customers.

Samsung, makers of video wall technology among other custom electronics solutions, figured out a way to get others to do the explaining.

Samsung 837, the Korean manufacturer’s new North American retail flagship store in New York’s Meatpacking District, features some staggering technology, including a video wall dubbed “The Screen” featuring 96 55-inch flat panels that it’s calling “the world’s largest interactive display.”

What’s great is the digital experience center (we shouldn’t have called it a store; Samsung does not want it called a store because the venue doesn’t actually sell products) is it has several mainstream media outlets talking about video walls and custom AV environments.

The fact that Samsung’s venue rivals that of competitors Apple and Microsoft makes this an irresistible story.
