MuxLab HDMI Splitters Support 1080p, 12-Bit Deep Color and Lossless Audio

The Montreal-based manufacturer MuxLab has introduced a new series of HDMI splitters that can be used for a variety of commercial and residential applications.

MuxLab, a Montreal, Canada-based manufacturer of commercial and residential electronics, recently introduced its latest HDMI solutions.

The Skinny: The newly announced 1×4 (model number 500421) and 1×8 (model number 500422) HDMI Splitters are engineered for a variety of video installations in which electronics professionals need to distribute HD video to multiple displays.

The Specs: MuxLab states that the HDMI splitters allow for a single HDMI source to be distributed to as many as eight displays. The products support 1080p, 12-bit color and lossless multichannel audio.

The Canadian manufacturer adds that the HDMI 1.4 compliant products are compatible with video formats such as 3D and 4K, and they offer LED status readouts for diagnostics. MuxLab also points out that the products’ HDMI connectors are located on the rear panel in order to facilitate their installation in commercial environments.

Solutions: MuxLab backs the HDMI splitters with two-year warranties, and the company says dealers can install the products in classrooms, boardrooms, medical centers and residences.
