The fall 2017 stops on the Almo Pro A/V E4 Tour land pretty much smack between InfoComm 2017 and Integrated Systems Europe 2018. So the popular distributor education and product showcase event provides a nice platform for InFocus to debut its Jupiter Control 1000 Series Display Wall Processor, which it announced in July.
The Almo Pro A/V E4 Tour, which has stops in New Jersey today and in Irvine, Calif., on October 3, caters to resellers, integrators and consultants.
“InFocus is proud to debut the Control 1000 at Almo’s E4 AV Tour,” says Brady O. Bruce, InFocus CMO.
“Almo is one of our biggest distributors, and we are happy to support them by showcasing the latest in our Jupiter by InFocus line of display wall processors. The Control 1000 offers our partners and customers a fully-featured, affordable 4K video wall solution that’s a perfect match for so many projects. We are so happy to partner with Almo and launch this product into the market.”
The Jupiter Control 1000 Series, meanwhile, is a cost-effective range of 4K display wall processors featuring Canvas collaborative visualization software platform. In a press release, InFocus calls the Jupiter Control 1000 Series ideal for smaller installations.
From InFocus’ Jupiter Control 1000 Series press release:
Control 1000 processors come fully pre-configured as stand-alone display wall processors with high-performance hardware that can decode up to eight IP streams and support up to 10 direct video connections. InFocus Jupiter Control 1000 processors can be used as a stand-alone solution driving a single video wall or integrated into a fully networked enterprise solution that is managed by the Canvas platform, enabling robust collaboration between video walls, operators, ancillary displays, and even mobile devices. The Jupiter Control 1000 is the latest 4K video processor from InFocus and offers exceptional performance in a cost-effective, space-efficient solution.
… The Jupiter Control 1000 Series processors ship with Windows 10 for easy deployment within any environment and will run Windows applications directly on the processor to utilize the full pixel resolution of the video wall. Capable of ingesting video and other visual information from any IP encoded source, direct video connection, or Windows 10 ready application, the Control 1000 is an extremely powerful, yet affordable controller for running graphic intensive applications with built-in hardware redundancy for mission-critical applications.
In addition to Windows 10, the Control 1000 also ships with the InFocus Jupiter Canvas 5.3 collaborative visualization software. The combined products offer seamless access to a consolidated, visually precise display of business intelligence in a user’s network.
The Control 1000 is the latest 4K video processor in the Jupiter product line and is capable of decoding up to five non-HDCP 4K signals. It also supports up to four non-HDCP 4K outputs on a single CPU chassis.
