SunBriteTV Outdoor HDTVs Feature Updated Cooling Systems for Summer

Published: 2014-05-07

With Memorial Day Weekend rapidly approaching, spring is soon to turn into summer. That means commercial technologies like digital signage that we are used to seeing indoors might be on their way outside.

The Thousand Oaks, Calif.-based video manufacturer SunBriteTV is facilitating a summer full of outdoor video through its new Signature Series of outdoor HDTVs. The line offers property owners a choice between the 32-inch SB-3270HD model and the SB-4670HD model, available in a choice of silver, black or white finishes.

“We’ve taken the best-selling outdoor TV in the world and improved it by leaps and bounds,” boasts Tom Dixon, vice president of marketing, SunBriteTV. “Our new design features powder-coated aluminum casings that make the new Signature Series models 50 percent thinner, but actually strong and more durable. By adding newer, brighter LED displays, SunBriteTV will take the outdoor viewing experience to a new level.”

A major part of the outdoor TV product line is a new cooling system that enables the TVs to run in conditions up to 130 degrees. Combining this with the added durability of the TVs’ powder-coated aluminum exteriors and LED panels, the TVs are said to last longer and produce better images in a variety of residential and commercial environments.

“The outdoor living market is expanding rapidly as more products become optimized for outdoor use,” adds Dixon. “It’s critical to consider not only performance, but also how these products are integrated aesthetically into existing [spaces].”

SunBriteTV says the TVs are engineered to withstand temperatures -24 degrees to 130 degrees, as well as wind, rain, humidity, salt corrosion, dust and dirt. The 32-inch SB-3270HD carries an MSRP of $1,495, and the 46-inch SB-4670HD carries an MSRP of $2,895.
