Just Add Power introduced their new Advanced Matrix Programmer (AMP) software for large installations in corporate and institutional settings during a session at InfoComm 2021.
The company announced that this multicast switching systems software is designed for environments with existing infrastructure or special network requirements that don’t allow for a dedicated AV distribution switch.
According to the company, AMP will consolidate and streamline the process of setting up individual Just Add Power devices, discovering them on the local network, presenting them in a list and allowing installers to name them, configuring their IP addresses, and assigning channels to transmitters. Additionally, when new firmware is released, it will assist with the necessary updates. Just Add Power said they will also provide a user interface to control source switching during the configuration of the Just Add Power system.
“We built our reputation for outstanding performance using VLAN switching to distribute audio and video with zero detectable latency in residential and commercial projects,” said Taft Stricklin, sales team manager at Just Add Power.
Stricklin further added, “Now, with our AMP software, that same ease of installation and performance is available with multicast switching for larger projects in corporate and institutional settings, allowing networking professionals to set up their Just Add Power system on their previously configured switch.”
The new AMP software is available for viewing at the Just Add Power booth #2733 at InfoComm 2021.
