Many products hit the market each year, but only a few are good enough to have longevity.
Deciding which product to use for an install can be difficult, but a panel of judges at ISC West 2011 have stepped in to make things a bit easier for CIs working in the security field.
The Security Industry Association’s New Product Showcase (NPS) awards honored 22 of the best new products, including the SafeRise FST21 as the Best New Product. The FST21 is an intelligent access control device that uses “vectoral behavior patterns” to keep buildings safe and secure.
“The judges were very impressed by SafeRise’s use of some of the most innovative security technologies available,” said NPS chair Jennifer Martin of Pixim. “It is an excellent example of what the New Product Showcase is all about. And OSID’s smoke detection capabilities effectively address the critical problem of false alarms.”
