Aurora Launches RXT Series Desktop Control Panels

New Jersey-based manufacturer Aurora announced its RXT-8D (eight inches) and RXT-10D (10 inches) desktop control panels. The company describes them as all-in-one IP touch/control solutions powered with ReAX (JavaScript based control engine).

Per the company, these solutions are ideal for conference rooms, education facilities, digital signage and more. Designed to sit on any flat surface, the RXT desktop panels has a capacitive touch screen with 170-degree viewing. The panels are also a web based control server. Thus, the interface can be remotely served up as well. Cell phones, tablets and laptops can thus have a remote interface into the system for bring your own device (BYOD) control.

Additionally, the multi-core processor with 3D graphics engine and H.264 streaming decoder provides a powerful solution for complex graphics and video. This ensures an enhanced user experience. Moreover, a built-in speaker and digital microphone further complement the video capabilities.

According to the company, the Core Studio tool is also available free of charge for drag-and-drop code and interface creation.
