People & Places: Westbury National Expands into Kingston, Ottawa

Westbury adds five new team members to lead expansion into new regions of Canada, further develops Toronto headquarters.

AV integration and event services company Westbury National released plans to expand its Toronto, Canada headquarters, as well as new team members to lead the company’s reach into Kingston and Ottawa.

The Westbury headquarters upgrade will be a 20,000-square-foot expansion and renovation at its Warden Avenue location. The additional space will accommodate the development of both the event and show services and AV integration divisions. Blueprints include new corporate offices, meeting rooms, demo facilities and warehouse capacity.

Five new team members also join the company in its planned expansion into new regions of Canada.

“These key appointments and hires will give our company the leadership and forward motion we need as we experience rapid growth across the province,” says Frank Gerstein, managing partner at Westbury National. “Not only are we heading into an exciting new chapter with the physical expansion of our facilities, we are on the threshold of innovative developments in our event and show services, as well as our audio and visual solutions division.”

The new team members are as follows:

Rod Marsh has been appointed account manager in the Kingston service center, covering the entire Eastern Ontario region. Marsh has more than four decades of experience in customer service in the AV industry.

Mark Hammermeister will oversee systems installations and field services for the Kingston team as project manager in Eastern Ontario.

Bob Guy has been appointed account manager of the National Capital Region. Based in the new Ottawa service center, his primary role will be to develop new government, commercial and institutional clients in the Ottawa area.

Martin Vaillant brings eight years of industry experience to the position of project manager in Ottawa.

Ryan Carman will take the role of AV systems designer/senior field engineer. Carman brings 16 years of industry experience in designing and implementing professional audio and AV systems.
