Renkus-Heinz OmniBeam Launches at InfoComm 2023

Published: June 13, 2023

Renkus-Heinz today announces the launch of OmniBeam. It is the latest innovation in beam-steering technology, and, according to the company, it revolutionizes the entire Renkus-Heinz steerable product line. The company is, of course, a well-known, industry-leading loudspeaker manufacturer.

Renkus-Heinz Bows OmniBeam Algorithm

The new OmniBeam algorithm is the culmination of decades of expertise in steerable technology. It replaces the previous best-fit approach of UniBeam. It thus delivers unmatched sound and coverage for 100% of venues, with less time and knowledge required.

The result is custom-tailored coverage precisely dialed into the exact geometry of every space. This, of course, results in the best, most consistent audio experience possible. Moreover, anyone — no matter their level of expertise — can achieve it with minimal time, every time.

Renkus-Heinz product manager Brandon Heinz says the company constantly thinks about what it can do to elevate its technology. “The introduction of OmniBeam takes our product line to the next level by delivering coverage previously untapped,” he adds. According to Heinz, anyone can use OmniBeam, and, indeed, everyone should. “It’s like a giant ‘easy’ button for configuring steerable arrays,” he remarks. “OmniBeam changes the way we hear sound, and everyone should experience that.”

Driving Philosophy Behind OmniBeam

Ralph Heinz, CTO at Renkus-Heinz, was instrumental in developing OmniBeam. “The driving philosophy behind OmniBeam was to give consultants and integrators back their time,” he comments. Heinz says the process was akin to “…taking the rocket science out of simulating and commissioning steerable arrays.” He adds, “Renkus-Heinz has demonstrated how beam steering is suitable for more than just reverberant spaces. They’re as simple to deploy as point and shoot.”

Do you want to be one of the first to experience Renkus-Heinz OmniBeam in person? If so, visit Renkus-Heinz at booth #5645 or in audio demo room W221DE at InfoComm 2023. The entire Renkus-Heinz steerable product line will be available for live demonstrations featuring OmniBeam.
