Published: May 17, 2016

In this era of ever-increasing network connectivity dependence one definite way to make people miserable is for a building to offer poor cell phone and Wi-Fi connectivity.

Helping consumers to find the connectivity they crave is the Freemont, Calif.-based manufacturer SureCall. The company’s latest product was just announced at DAS Congress, and according to the West Coast manufacturer, its new Force7 (MSRP is $4,779) is an all-in-one signal booster that is capable of improving the reception of cellular, Wi-Fi and over-the-air HDTV signals.

SureCall explains it designed the Force7 for large-scale demanding environments in which users require stable connectivity for a multitude of signals.

“Boosters are the first step toard the new standard in how we communicate and receive information virtually cord free,” says Hongtao Zhan, CEO, SureCall. “In addition to boosting cellular data and having HDTV capabilities, the Force7 industrial boosts and extends Wi-Fi to answer a need we’ve heard from commercial integrators, especially for new and renovated buildings.”

Building upon the capabilities of its Force5, the new Force7 incorporates the company’s patent-pending seven-band technologies to deliver PCS and cellular frequency bands, AWS, and two LTE frequencies to support Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile networks.

SureCall says the Force7 covers as much as 80,000 square-feet and more than 100 simultaneous cell-phone users with adjustable upload and download gain for each frequency, and as much as 80dB of signal gain.

The Force7’s built-in Wi-Fi amplifier extends a wireless network’s capabilities to cover as much as 50,000 square-feet. SureCall says all dealers need to do is connect their existing router to the Force7’s industrial WAN port, and SureCall states the booster can also serve as a router to eliminate the need of additional hardware.

Augmenting access to over-the-air (OTA) HDTV signals and networks like ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS and Fox, the Force7 can also feed as many as 35 televisions, and SureCall adds that it backs the Force7 with a three-way warranty.
