Just this past summer, there were a number of major internet outages that affected almost everyone that uses the internet.
A Google Cloud outage occurred on June 2 which knocked service for most on the U.S. east coast, affecting third-party sites like Discord, Snap and Vimeo, as well as Google’s Gmail and Nest.
On July 2, Google was hit by another outage as a result of physical damage to a fiber cable. The same day, Cloudflare was hit by an outage caused by a faulty code push.
Mehdi Daoudi joins the podcast to discuss why these internet outages are occurring so much more frequently, and how they affect customers of the companies that have outages.

The host, web editor Adam Forziati, has a background in radio and is looking forward to providing listeners with an entertaining, informative audio forum for all topics affecting the industry.
