Panasonic GH4 Camera Includes 4K Cinematic Recording Capabilities

The 4K video format is rapidly growing in professional and public acceptance, and manufacturers such as Panasonic are supporting the professional video and photography market’s adoption of this new format.

The Skinny: The newly announced Lumix GH4 camera body and companion DMW-YAGH Video Adapter provide the professional and enthusiast end user market with a versatile camera solution that’s capable of capturing detailed still images and 4K video.

The Specs: The Lumix GH4 incorporates a 16.05-megapixel Digital Live MOS Sensor and Venus engine that supports the camera’s ability to achieve high-speeds, high-sensitivity and image recording capabilities. The camera system also incorporates its latest mechanical advancements to enable its mobile use, and it includes Wi-Fi connectivity as well as NFC options for use with smart devices.

Other features the camera system offers include the ability to expand to facilitate a variety of workflow processes, and options such as Luminance Level Adjustment, Focus Peaking, Silent Mode, Highlight/Shadow Control and RAW data development.
