FEATURED REPORT

Color Light Output – A New Industry Specification/Specifying Large Venue Projectors
Color Light Output is a new standard that gives buyers the data they need to compare projectors. Large venues, when compared to smaller more controlled environments, require a good understanding of the environment, including factors such as larger screen sizes, varying ambient lighting conditions and longer throw distances. Gain an understanding of what features to look for and how they can help you overcome challenging projection environments.

The Integrated Interactive System/Guide to Selecting Front Projection Screens
As long as we live in an imperfect world, we will always be faced with presentation problems, such as ambient light, limited room configurations and budget restrictions. See how Chief’s unique Integrated Interactive System for the Epson BrightLink Pro 1410Wi combines a high performance projection surface with a precision projector mounting system. In the second part of the course, Da-Lite will guide you through the selection process to choose the right screen fabric for any application and projection method.

5 A/V Technologies That Will Define the Next 5 Years
Most industry experts agree that composite, component, and VGA A/V connections will be largely irrelevant and obsolete by 2017. With a digital future rapidly approaching, it is critical that system integrators, designers, owners and operators understand the infrastructure and connectivity choices that are necessary to facilitate a smooth and seamless transition into the next generation of A/V technology. This session explores the five technologies that will deliver the greatest effect on deployment of the last 100 meters of digital video infrastructure over the next five years.
