Harman Professional Solutions has appointed Exertis as its new distributor of retail and collaborative products including AKG, JBL Professional and Martin by HARMAN for the U.K. market.

Harman Makes Exertis Its U.K. Distributor for Retail and Collaborative Products

Harman Professional Solutions announces that Exertis, a technology distributor of consumer, business and enterprise products from U.K. technology brands, is its new distributor of retail and collaborative product for the U.K. market.

According to a Harman press release, the distribution agreement entitles Exertis the right to distribute the collaboration and retail products range offered by HARMAN Professional Solutions.

The agreement covers the entire AMX Acendo product family in addition to a selection of AKG, JBL Professional and Martin by HARMAN products.

The Harman press release adds that Exertis is one of the leading distributors of IT, communication and home entertainment products in the UK and a wholly owned subsidiary of parent company DCC PLC, Ireland’s fourth largest company.

Dublin-based DCC Technology acquired New York-based distributor Stampede in July 2018.

DCC is divided into four divisions:

  • DCC LPG – a leading LPG sales and marketing business with operations in Europe, Asia and the US and a developing business in the retailing of natural gas and electricity;
  • DCC Retail & Oil – a leader in the sales, marketing and retailing of transport fuels and commercial fuels, heating oils and related products and services in Europe;
  • DCC Healthcare – a leading healthcare business, providing products and services to healthcare providers and health and beauty brand owners; and
  • DCC Technology – a leading sales, marketing and services partner for global technology brands.
