LG Business Solutions USA announced the launch of the new LG ProBeam BU53RG short-throw 4K UHD projector as a replacement to the popular LG ProBeam BU53PST projector. The new ProBeam BU53RG includes webOS 6.0 Signage, the company says. This is a powerful web-based digital-signage platform that has advanced display features including support for streamlined tools to tie into a larger webOS digital-signage network.
Like its predecessor, LG says, the ProBeam BU53RG offers features and capabilities that make it ideal for a range of applications from corporate meeting rooms to golf simulators to entertainment destinations.
With the ability to display a large high-resolution image in tight spaces, thanks to its 0.94 to 1.14 throw ratio; the new ProBeam BU53RG is thus a multi-function powerhouse. Its features include 3840×2160 4K UHD resolution, 5,000 ANSI lumen brightness, significant lens shift control of 20% horizontal and 50% vertical, 1.2x zoom capability and support for multiple popular aspect ratios (16:9, 16:10, 16:6 and 21:9). Per the company, this makes the projector a suitable choice with a price point of $3,799.
According to LG, the new projector also delivers details and text that are super clear thanks to a 3,000,000:1 contrast ratio. The laser can provide up to 20,000 hours of performance at full brightness. The ProBeam BU53RG also enables easy integration with new or existing systems. Additionally, it can form the center of a single-room solution through its integrated pair of 5W stereo speakers, Bluetooth audio out with sync control, native MiraCast screensharing capability and HDMI ARC channel for connection to an AV receiver.
The projector also includes two HDMI inputs, two USB inputs, one RJ45 port, RS-232C and a 3.5mm audio out port. With this, it can help ensure compatibility with existing peripherals and control systems.
