AV-over-IP distribution provider Just Add Power announced its new MaxColor 4K60 Series is now available for preorder. The award-winning transmitter and receiver provide integrators with an affordable and scalable 4K UHD distribution platform to natively support 4K source content with high frame rates over existing network infrastructures.
The highly anticipated products are available for preorder as of today and will begin shipping in early Q1 of 2022.
The MaxColor transmitter and receiver natively support 4K60 from source to screen, allowing end users to play UHD video from the growing number of 4K sources and devices now available.
With MaxColor 4K60, video at 12-bit color and 4:4:4 chroma can be distributed over existing Cat5/Cat6 cable. This eliminates the expense of upgrading to fiber and buying costly network switches. In addition, the transmitter and receiver support MPEG downstreaming for connected devices, such as a laptop or tablet.
The series delivers instant and seamless switching, 4K up- and downscaling, and EDID management while supporting all lossless audio formats and HDR formats, including Dolby Vision, for the best viewing experience.
Additional features include image pop, push, and pull; 90-degree image rotation for landscape and portrait modes; and integrated endpoint control.
“We are thrilled to bring native support for high frame rate source content to the Just Add Power platform, and judging by the buzz the MaxColor 4K60 generated in our booth at InfoComm, our customers are eager to get their hands on the transmitter and receiver,” said Taft Stricklin, sales team manager at Just Add Power in a statement. “With that in mind, we couldn’t be more excited to say that the wait is almost over. We’re taking preorders now, so this is a great time to buy in today.”
