Resolve to Deal With Challenges Better

Here’s to another 12 months of growth and a commitment to dexterity and overcoming challenges.

A new years brings with it new opportunities, but as InfoComm International executive director David Labuskes notes in our 2015 State of the Industry Report, there are also more challenges than ever to success.

The smart companies have anticipated there will be challenges to procuring new work, finding new employees and building their bottom lines and have figured out how to avoid them or, at the very least, embrace and overcome them.

Challenges are a lot easier to deal with when you realize something will be coming at some point, of course. If you haven’t thought about the potential pitfalls you might face in 2015, maybe now is the time to start doing so.

As the old cliché goes, “Perfect planning prevents poor performance.”

Now that we’re in a bit of an economic upswing, there are going to be lots of new opportunities that come along. Being able to decide which ones are good for you and which ones to avoid is all part of moving your business forward and keeping your customers happy.

Just because something new comes along doesn’t mean you’re required to accept it. That’s a lesson we learned several times in 2014 through our company profiles.

Happy New Year to everyone out there in CI Land from all of us at the Worldwide Headquarters. Here’s to another 12 months of growth and a commitment to dexterity and overcoming challenges.
