Sony has been hosting Technology Tuesdays, a series of weekly webinars covering timely AV topics, products and solutions and applications, while answering audiences’ questions. Since March.
Initially launched as a way to connect with customers, demonstrate products, and educate users during the COVID-19 pandemic, the series has become essential viewing to partners, technology enthusiasts and prospective clients.
In response to the series’ popularity, additional topics have been added to the agenda through December.
Upcoming Technology Tuesday topics include:
- November 10 – New Product Review: Next Generation 6,000lm Business Projector
- November 17 – Strategies to Advance the Impact of Digital Signage Throughout Your Organization with Rich Ventura of Sony Electronics, Jeff Hastings of BrightSign, Bryan Meszaros of OpenEye Global, and Joe Medonca of Adtech Systems
- December 1 – BRAVIA Display Settings for Video Conferencing Optimization
- December 8 – Touch Technology with Touch Surface Cleaning and Coating Solutions
With more than 20,000 cumulative views since the series’ launch in March, the Technology Tuesday sessions provide free training, product presentations and launches, and education each week to end-users, distributors, resellers, integrators and consultants on Sony’s solutions, new technologies and software innovations.
The interactive webinars foster a two-way dialogue between Sony’s product experts and users, who are encouraged to ask questions at the end of each presentation.
Previous topics have covered PTZ cameras, professional displays and solutions, projection, and new ways of learning, working, and worshipping. Watch the entire series on-demand HERE.
Spotlight on Sony Technology Tuesday
In June, Sony Electronics Inc. announced the appointment of Ventura as VP of B2B for Sony Imaging Products and Solutions Professional Division.
In this role, Ventura “will provide insight, strategy and leadership to Sony’s robust display, remote camera and solutions product portfolio directly overseeing business and product management as well as all B2B marketing communications strategies,” the announcement said.
In addition, he will “nurture and expand Sony relationships in the corporate, education and government sectors to drive growth for Sony’s B2B portfolio and create long-term partnerships with strategic systems integrators and distribution partners, which will drive engagement among influential corporations and universities,” according to the company announcement.
