New at InfoComm: Christie GS Series Projectors

Published: 2014-06-18

The new Christie GS Series of laser phosphor projectors debuts on the showroom floor at InfoComm 2014 today. The Christie GS Series provides 20,000 hours of operation and eliminates the need for lamp and filter replacements, using laser phosphor illumination.

The solid state illumination, high-resolution, 1-chip DLP laser-diode projectors come in WXGA, HD and WUXGA resolutions and provide a cost-effective solution with outstanding color matching and optional blending and warping for curved surfaces. Christie GS Series is designed for fixed installation applications including boardrooms and conference rooms, government facilities, higher education, houses of worship and select entertainment venues such as casinos and live event theaters.

With features including wireless connectivity and a suite of optional lenses, the Christie GS Series delivers the needed requirements for today’s demanding visual display projects and is suitable for 24/7 environments without a loss of image quality. Easy to install and use with input options such as Display Port, HDMI, DVI and HDBaseT, Christie GS Series provides clean, radiant images with up to 5400 ANSI lumens with Picture-in-Picture functionality.

“The move to laser phosphor technology with Christie 1-chip GS Series means a better combination of brilliant images, high performance and durability, while improving on a low cost of ownership,” said Mike Garrido, senior product manager, Christie.
Christie is at Booth #N505 at InfoComm this week.
