You’d think that introducing commercial OLED displays would be enough of a splash for LG to make at Digital Signage Expo 2016, but no … LG Electronics USA shows off its next generation of digital signage displays, including what it calls an 86-inch “Ultra Stretch” signage monitor, new 4K monitors, transparent displays and outdoor signage solutions.
Most attendees, of course, make a bee-line to check out the OLED offerings.
LG on its commercial OLED displays:
Ushering in a new, premium standard to the commercial signage marketplace, LG’s commercial OLED displays feature the unrivaled picture quality that customers recognize from LG’s state-of-the-art consumer OLED televisions, now available to businesses seeking high-end display solutions that offer an unrivaled consumer experience. Launching for the first time, LG is now taking orders for the Dual-View Curved Tiling OLED 4K Display and Dual-View Flat OLED Display, each boasting an impossibly thin design, stunning picture quality for a bolder, more lifelike viewing experience, as well as a bevy of interactive features for efficient use into any retail or commercial space.

Next stop in the LG booth is likely to gawk at the 86-inch Ultra Stretch Signage 86BH5C, which measures over 7 feet long with 4K resolution.
It’s also showing its new 75-inch Multiple Screen Split-Ultra HD Signage display 75UH5C-B, which it says delivers an immersive 4K viewing experience with four times the resolution as comparable full HD displays. It can display and upconvert content to 4K and divide the screen’s content layout up to four different images on one screen. The built-in LG SuperSign software and webOS for Signage platform provides basic content templates for end-users to create and edit content right on the signage display. From a design perspective, the 75UH5C-B’s slim depth and built-in speaker increases space efficiency, with no need for an external media player, according to LG.
