Over 200 digital signage technology exhibitors will take over the Las Vegas Convention Center this March for DSE 2018 (Digital Signage Expo). Now that registration is open, it’s time to recognize that this part of the pro AV industry is exploding.
We know this partly because of how many exhibitors will be present at DSE 2018. But the sheer range of offerings at this year’s Digital Signage Expo is also surprising.
All in all, the event plans on over 95 educational opportunities, including 10 pre- and post-show events, eight industry-specific keynotes, 32 general conference sessions, 28 free on-floor workshops, and a program of study to ensure certification renewal in cooperation with the Digital Signage Experts Group.
Additionally, DSE 2018 will make room for end-users. Just like many InfoComm attendees this past June were end-users, this year’s Digital Signage Expo will schedule time for “brainstorming meet-ups” for individual end-user sectors.
More on DSE 2018 from a press release:
New this year are Emerging Tech Talks, ten 45-minute sessions on some of the hottest current and future-looking topics in the industry, with sessions ranging from artificial intelligence and facial recognition to the impact of self-driving cards on the Digital Out-of-Home industry.
All sessions include relevant topics vetted by Educational Oversight Committees comprised of industry experts and DSE Advisory Board members, who volunteer their expertise and experience to help shape the 2018 curriculum.
8 Examples of Excellent Work
Our coverage of these projects has certainly increased, but we’ve also instituted a quiz which tests your approach to selling the craft. But we’ve found that most integrators realize how much their clients can benefit from thinking about their investments as more than just screens on a wall.
Digital signage is an excellent way for end-users to build brand equity, communicate corporate initiatives, and much more. Check out some fine examples of digital signage projects in the slideshow.
