NSCA Announces New Regional Training and Technology Showcase

Integration Business Survival Conference will be held in three regions to offer manufacturer training, Technology Showcase, and business education.

NSCA has announced the Integration Business Survival Conference & Technology Showcase (IBSC), a new conference delivering specific training and education in a small setting to provide an opportunity to learn and see new technology one-on-one.

The Integration Business Survival Conference & Technology Showcase is based on the requests of NSCA member for a more intimate learning environment that allows for networking, question asking, and direct manufacturer interaction.

“With the continued, growing success of NSCA’s Business & Leadership Conference – which caters to leaders within integration firms – we’ve decided to create an event where these same leaders can send their employees for training,” says Chuck Wilson, NSCA executive director. “By combining business education with technology training and a Technology Showcase full of products from leading manufacturers, we’re providing an affordable, regional event designed to give industry professionals the education they need – and then get them back into their offices as quickly as possible.”

The event will feature small, focused groups in which attendees will learn how to thrive when customer demands increase, technology changes, government regulations threaten the industry, and costs continue to rise. Sessions topics include: Analog to Digital: Problems and Solutions; 10 Steps to Becoming More Profitable; Understanding Labor Cost, Productivity, and Efficiency; Dashboards to Steer Your Company Down the Right Path; Understanding Breakeven, Markup, & Margin; Managing & Billing Recurring Monthly Revenue; and Wireless Mic Solutions for Corporate AV.

In addition, the Technology Showcase will include hands-on displays from manufacturers such as Kramer, Shure, Lencore, Lightware, Solutions360, Herman, and RDL.

The IBSC is being offered in three different regions to offer education without a big financial or time-away-from-the-office commitment. The first regional Integration Business Survival Conference will take place May 15-16 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Chicago North Shore (Skokie, IL). The locations of two additional conferences scheduled for September and November 2014 will be announced soon.
