Phoenix, Ariz.-based Project Crew Multiplier (PCM) and Exertis Almo have announced a partnership for service delivery. Commencing shortly, Philadelphia-based Exertis Almo will offer third-party professional services from the PCM Network to its professional AV reseller and integrator partners. The PCM Network includes Crew Network Providers (CNPs) that offer project labor and installation, drafting, programming, training, staffing, rack builds, logistics and staging, and supplemental labor services nationwide.
Per a statement, third-party resources continue to soar in popularity. In fact, businesses are working to extend their reach and plan projects with outsourced providers in mind. Outsourced services give businesses next-level capabilities.
The partnership between Exertis Almo and PCM will bring that to the AV industry, the statement notes. As the first distributor to access the PCM Network, Exertis Almo will also increase its current service offerings in footprint and capabilities. All the while, it will benefit, of course, from the guidance and support of PCM.
Benefits of Partnership
Sam Taylor, EVP/COO of Exertis Almo, explains, “Partnering with PCM allows us to offer a greater variety of services and to work with many of the top providers in the industry.” Taylor notes that the Exertis Almo service program is one of the organization’s fastest growing. He adds that it “…is being leveraged more and more by our pro AV resellers and integrators across the country.”
Dan Abrams, COO of PCM, adds, “The opportunity to work with Exertis Almo and its pro AV channel partners is a tremendous benefit to our CNPs nationwide.” He mentions that the Exertis Almo team will connect PCM’s providers to projects of all sizes and scopes. Ultimately, Abrams says, that will “…create growth opportunities for all of our collective businesses. This is a great step forward for PCM, and we’re thankful to Sam Taylor and his team for trusting in PCM.”

“Exertis Almo’s dedication to education and training in the Pro AV Industry is essential to this partnership,” says Chris Whitley, CEO of PCM. He also notes, “Best practice sharing, education and training is a fundamental tenant of PCM for its CNPs. This partnership is perfect for the delivery of services nationwide to the pro AV industry and will promote continued operational excellence through collaboration with PCM.”
According to a statement, the ever-increasing need to offer additional services and extend the reach of delivery, combined with rising costs and challenges of employee retention, makes B2B service providers more valuable than ever. The PCM/Exertis Almo partnership, therefore, is another clear indication that service delivery continues to be a critical piece of the next generation of the AV industry.
