What if Your AV Design Documents Could be Automated? 3 Questions with XTEN-AV

Published: 2020-01-15

It is XTEN-AV’s assessment that you’re probably spending too much time on drawing up AV design documents manually: after all, how much time could you save if you could automate things like line schematics, rack layouts, signal flow diagrams, cable schedules, ceiling speaker layouts, scope of work document and proposals with AI?

Their software solution uses cloud computing and AI/machine learning to automate these documents per AVIXA standards.

“This will exponentially increase the efficiency and accuracy for AV designers and that’s what our aim is; to increase efficiency accuracy and profitability by 10 times for AV system integrators. That’s why we call our platform XTEN-AV,” says co-founder Vib Singh.

In the above CI 3 Questions video, we asked co-founders Vib Singh and Sahil Dhingra more about their solution and why integrators should pay attention to it.

FEATURED REPORT

What should integrators expect from XTEN-AV at ISE 2020 & in 2020?

“Since our launch at infocomm 2019 we have had some great feedback and a large number of early adopters so we made ourselves a goal to work with these early adopters and bring all the great feedback to life in our software and that is what we are going to show at ISE.

“Biggest of all is our new path breaking drawing & editing tool we are calling X-DRAW, this will be a drawing tool similar to Microsoft VISIO but with all AV functionality and it will work on the cloud so no software to download just need a web browser, users can search products from our database and we will draw the block of these in the drawing tool and then user can connect them the way they want.

“Also users will be able to create their own product blocks on the spot without having to wait for us to create blocks for them and they can manage all these products as part of their own product library, this will allow them to create their own library of as many products they want across verticals, residential, commercial AV, IT or security.

You can find the XTEN-AV AV design solution at Booth 7-N190 at ISE 2020.
