Gabi Shriki on Valens’ VS6320 Chipset Reveal at ISE 2024

Published: January 18, 2024

At ISE 2024, Valens is excited to showcase numerous technological advancements. The company, which is an HDBaseT Alliance founding member, will be at the Alliance’s booth on the show floor. Here, Commercial Integrator chats with Gabi Shriki, SVP, head of audiovisual business, Valens. He provides a preview of some of the technologies that showgoers can look forward to experiencing. One of them is the debut of Valens’ VS6320 chipset.

This chipset, identified as crucial for its USB 3.2 Gen 1 extension technology over category cable, promises professional-grade, highly reliable extension technology. It’s an improvement over USB 3.2, offering 10 times the bandwidth and reduces latency, according to Shriki. Importantly, the chipset has significant benefits for manufacturers with its standardized way to extend USB 3.2 peripheral over category cable, which opens doors for innovative, smaller and more efficient product design.
