98-Inch Sony Pro BRAVIA 4K HDR Display to Debut at DSE 2019

At the upcoming Digital Signage Expo (DSE 2019) trade event, which takes place in Las Vegas on March 26-29, the 98-inch Sony Pro BRAVIA 4K HDR display will be introduced to the public. Sony Pro will showcase its BRAVIA 4K HDR line of displays that offer features such as cloud-based signage media capabilities, to its Touch Overlay (TOP) with IR panel technologies.

“Digital Signage Expo is an ideal place to showcase the latest upgrades and new models in our flexible and cost-effective BRAVIA line,” says Theresa Alesso, VP, Sony Electronics, imaging products and solutions America.

“The user interface is so easy to work with, and [it] makes project previewing, sharing and presenting projects effortless. Optional iRevo digital signage software provides enhanced levels of customization, plus cloud capabilities to publish from anywhere, and our new touchscreen overlays create an interactive audience experience. Digital signage users need to be able to create and distribute content easily and creatively, whether it’s an information display for a lobby or an interactive screen in a showroom. Our new models and enhancements put everything they need to do so at their fingertips.”

Sony Pro BRAVIA 4K FWD-98Z9G 98-inch Display Incorporates X1 Processor

Among the products to be shown during the trade event, the new Sony Pro BRAVIA 4K FWD-98Z9G will be highlighted.

[related]The 98-inch display incorporates Sony Pro’s X1 Ultimate processor that offers an 8K upconversion options, and the company’s Backlight Master Drive technology that includes a new LED module and control algorithm that’s optimized for upscaled 8K content.

Other products from Sony Pro that will be exhibited include the BZ35F series.

These products offer features such as network and serial communication control options, high-brightness capabilities, and a host of integrator-friendly installation options.

Some of the TOP-enabled solutions on display at DSE 2019 include 55-, 65-, 75 and 85-inch BRAVIA BZ35F models that users can engage with their fingers or a stylus. As part of the displays’ screen features, the products provide 10-point multi-touch, anti-glare surfaces and anti-fingerprint coatings.

Powered by direct USB connections to a PC or server the displays are engineered to run efficiently to help manage cost-of-ownership, and the products install into a variety of environments that range from meeting rooms and interactive signage locations, to informational kiosk areas.

In addition, the BRAVIA products offer an optional iRevo Digital Signage (iDS) software license to support cloud-based digital signage applications.
