In October 2025, Diversified announced that Paul Lidsky would take on the role of CEO and lead the company into the next stage of growth. In an exclusive interview with Commercial Integrator, Lidsky explores the opportunities for growth and reiterates the company’s commitment to delivering support at a global scale.

Commercial Integrator: As CEO, how do you envision the growth strategy for Diversified?
Paul Lidsky: I view Diversified’s growth as the intersection of two core strengths working together: deep engineering expertise grounded in broadcast media and proven delivery across scaled, complex enterprise environments. We have always performed best where reliability is mission-critical — live production studios, global collaboration ecosystems, large-scale digital signage networks, control rooms and secure government operations. What’s changed is that these once-specialized skills are now universal, and those same requirements are now showing up across every industry as organizations rely on technology to communicate, collaborate and operate without interruption.
Our strategy going forward is simple. First, we deliver operational excellence every day so reliability and quality remain non-negotiable. Second, we scale the lifecycle services that wrap around our engineering: standardized delivery models, managed services and tighter co-creation with our partners. Third, we expand in markets where demand is already strong and where our multi-disciplinary expertise delivers outsized value.
Diversified operates at the intersection of broadcast-grade engineering and enterprise-scale integration. That is our runway for the next chapter, and it continues to expand as client environments grow more distributed, more connected and always on. We are leaning further into the industries and territories where clients are already moving toward what we do best and backing it with operational maturity that they can trust in the long term.
CI: From your personal perspective, what are you most excited to see regarding the future of Diversified?
Paul Lidsky: What excites me most is how this organization performs when the stakes are high. Our teams do more than design and integrate systems. They run them in live environments where events are happening in real time, content is moving and failure is not an option. That history shows up in the way we think about quality today.
Across industries, enterprise AV is starting to look and feel more like broadcast. It has to be resilient, governed and precise. I am energized by the opportunity for our next generation of operators, engineers, builders and services leaders to carry that mindset into more markets and more verticals. When we give our people the tools, focus and support to win, our clients benefit directly from that success.
CI: How do you see the emerging trends such as AI and automation shaping the company’s trajectory, and what steps are you taking to stay ahead of the curve?
Paul Lidsky: AI and automation are reshaping expectations for performance, support and scale. We’re approaching AI not as a buzzword, but as a tool that helps us deliver better outcomes: smarter monitoring, faster troubleshooting, stronger analytics and more efficient deployment.
We’re investing in the talent and partnerships that allow us to apply AI across our service portfolio. Whether it’s media production, workplace collaboration or digital experience, clients want systems that anticipate issues, self-correct and scale globally. That’s where AI becomes a real differentiator, and we’re making the right moves today to ensure we’re ahead of that curve.
CI: How do you plan to further enhance customer and partner support across the globe?
Paul Lidsky: Our first commitment is continuity. The teams that clients and partners rely on today remain in place. Relationships, points of contact and existing commitments do not change.
From there, the opportunity is to bring more structure around those relationships. We are advancing unified standards, aligning lifecycle services to the way clients actually buy and run their environments, and deepening collaboration with key partners. That includes more joint planning, more integrated training and clear shared accountability in delivery. As we grow our global footprint, we are focused on making sure support grows with it in a consistent way, without compromising the fundamentals we were built on.
CI: Is there anything I haven’t asked that you would like to spotlight?
Paul Lidsky: I would emphasize that Diversified is leaning into the areas where we have a true right to win. When environments require broadcast-grade engineering, precise coordination and large-scale delivery, we are often the integrator that clients call upon. That reputation has been earned by the talent across our organization and the consistency of our delivery under pressure.
Looking ahead, my priority is to reinforce the Diversified team and our standards, systems and partnerships that support that reputation. We are building a unified operating model that gives clients confidence that every Diversified project will be delivered with the same quality, regardless of where it lives in the world. That is how we expand responsibly and sustain our leadership.
