Bluefin, the Atlanta-based, digital signage solutions provider, announced the launch of COLORFRAME, a new feature that offers customers a wide range of RAL color finishes for screen frames. The addition aims to enhance the company’s focus on customization, enabling clients to personalize not only the size, specifications, and operating system of their displays but now the frame color as well.

According to Bluefin, the decision to introduce COLORFRAME was driven by growing demand for frames that either blend seamlessly into their surroundings or serve as a bold design element. While black remains a popular choice, the company notes an increasing preference among clients for more tailored aesthetic options. COLORFRAME is positioned as a response to this evolving market trend.

“COLORFRAME is about giving clients one more way to make their vision a reality,” says Tim Bailey, COO of Bluefin International. “It’s exciting to extend our ‘If we can, we will’ motto into the realm of colored frames both affordably and at scale.”

Where Design Meets Technology

COLORFRAME offers interior designers, architects, and brand managers greater creative flexibility by incorporating customizable frame colors into digital signage. This feature allows displays to either align with a brand’s specific color palette or complement an interior design scheme, transforming functional screens into intentional design elements.

As digital signage evolves beyond its traditional role as an information tool, it is increasingly being used as an aesthetic feature in modern interiors. With the introduction of color customization, Bluefin aims to help clients seamlessly integrate displays into retail, hospitality, corporate, and public spaces, creating cohesive and visually on-brand environments.

How COLORFRAME Works

Bluefin’s in-house manufacturing capabilities allow the company to produce COLORFRAME orders efficiently and at a competitive cost. Pricing starts at $10 per screen, with a typical turnaround time of 4–6 weeks and no additional engineering fees.

The COLORFRAME feature can be paired with Bluefin’s FLEX-OS platform, which supports operating systems such as BrightSign, Intel, and Android, offering customers a fully customizable solution. By incorporating frame color into the design, Bluefin positions the frame itself as an extension of the brand, creating an impression even before the display is powered on.

COLORFRAME is now available for production orders across all screen sizes.
