Samsung Expands Smart Signage Lineup with 2 New Models

Adding to its Smart Signage series, Samsung’s Enterprise Business Division has announced a pair of new commercial displays.

Samsung is known for its impressive line of HDTVs, which will be at the top of many gift lists this upcoming holiday season.

The Skinny: The company also offers a pretty impressive line of commercial display solutions. Recently the company bolstered its Smart Signage line of products with two new display products.

The Specs: The newly announced DB10D is a 10.1-inch commercial display. DB22D-P and DB22D-T 21.5-inch models incorporate the company’s Smart Signage Platform that eliminate the need for external media players, while also simplifying the setup and installation processes for dealers.

“Samsung is constantly looking for ways to innovate our digital signage offerings and provide businesses with new solutions for enhancing customers engagement, operational efficiency and communications,” says Tod Pike, senior vice president, Samsung Enterprise Business Division.

“Our new small-form factor displays offer a simple, smart and cost-effective way for businesses to transition from static posters and take advantage of the opportunities presented by interactive and dynamic digital technology.”

The DB22D-P 22-inch model is rated for use up to 16 hours daily, while the DB22D-T model adds to those features by including 10-point interactive touch capabilities. The DB10D can be deployed to provide user information in a variety of locations, and all three products include built-in Wi-Fi, and the company’s MagicInfo software that enables users to manage the scheduling of their content.

Other connectivity options include HDMI, USB, D-sub (analog) inputs, and RS-232 control capabilities.

Solutions: Samsung’s Enterprise Business Division says the products can be used in boardrooms, retail environments and meeting rooms.
