Almo Pro AV, the value-added North American Pro AV distributor, announced that its 2026 spring E4 Experience will take place in the DC Metro area on March 17. Per the organization, the event will spotlight the public sector and emerging technology markets, bringing together integrators, end users and technology partners for a day of education, command-and-control demonstrations and networking.

Almo Pro AV Makes Seventh Stop at DC Metro

“This stop marks the seventh time the E4 Experience has visited the DC Metro area,” says Greg O’Rourke, director of trade shows and events for Almo Pro AV. “For professionals whose work touches public safety, operations or complex monitoring environments, this E4 Experience should absolutely be on their radar.”

He adds, “Attendees will have access to more than 55 exhibitors, along with our public sector sales and business development teams that are ready to help explore new opportunities in government and mission-critical environments.”

Spotlight on Public Sector

According to Beth Dudley, director of public sector sales for Almo Pro AV, the DC Metro stop will mark the first E4 Experience to feature a comprehensive command-and-control solutions showcase.

“Demand for situational awareness technologies continues to grow as agencies invest in infrastructure supporting law enforcement, emergency management, and other mission-critical operations,” she remarks. “This event provides a unique opportunity to visualize complete command-and-control environments and see how emerging technologies, from drones to advanced visualization, can support public safety and operational decision-making.”

Almo Pro AV notes that the exhibit hall entrance will feature a dedicated command-and-control demo space, displaying integrated technologies designed for environments such as security operations centers, emergency operations centers and network operations centers.

Emerging Technologies Address Mission-Critical Needs

According to the organization, attendees can explore technologies including drone feeds, counter-UAS awareness systems and advanced visualization platforms designed to help organizations see more information, share insights faster and respond sooner.

Participating emerging technology partners include:

  • RTRobotics, showcasing the Hera drone, an NDAA- and TAA-compliant platform designed for a wide range of mission applications
  • SensorOps, provider of Blue-list certified simulation and training software used by the U.S. Department of Defense’s Joint Special Operations Command
  • ACSL, featuring the Soten drone with swappable payload capabilities
  • 3DSurvey, offering advanced industrial and geospatial data analysis tools
  • GeoCue, demonstrating the TrueView Go handheld LiDAR system for rapid site surveying and data capture

Government-Focused Education at DC Metro

According to the organization, the DC Metro E4 Experience will also feature a keynote presentation from Tim Albright, founder of AVNation. His session, tailored for the public sector market, will examine how evolving security frameworks, regulatory requirements and infrastructure expectations are reshaping the AV industry and the role of integrators.

Additionally, Eric Jameson, business development manager, drone solutions for Almo will deliver a DC Metro-only session, “Connecting the Dots…Unlocking Command-and-Control Opportunities in Emerging Tech.” The future-forward session describes how to integrate emerging technologies like drones and XR into command-and-control environments while designing secure, scalable architectures for mission-critical operations.

Celebrating International Women’s Day

Moreover, the DC Metro event will feature a special Lunch & Learn panel celebrating International Women’s Day (#IWD2026), announced Almo Pro AV. Aligned with the 2026 theme, “Give to Gain,” the session will bring together leading women in AV to share their experiences and insights navigating the industry. Panelists will also discuss mentorship, collaboration and leadership while exploring how the industry can support and inspire the next generation of AV professionals.
