AVIXA & IATSE Training Trust Fund Honor 15 Years of Partnership

AVIXA and the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees Training Trust Fund (IATSE TTF) announced that the partnership has completed 15 years. Per the statement, this collaboration has helped drive the professionalism of the AV industry through consistent efforts and a shared belief in the power of education.

AVIXA & IATSE Partnership Enhances Education Resources

According to the organization, The IATSE Training Trust Fund facilitates training opportunities for IATSE workers to achieve and maintain the skills, ability and knowledge necessary to meet the ever-changing technologies in the entertainment and exhibition industries.

IATSE members have access to both on-demand and live courses led by AVIXA instructors, says the organization. Over the last 15 years, there have been more than 17,000 enrollments by IATSE members in AVIXA education activities, representing more than 200,000 hours of education. In addition, many members have gone on to attain their CTS certification, showcasing the tangible benefits of this collaboration.

As part of their continued partnership, the two organizations announced that they will further enhance their training programs. Here, AVIXA will introduce new courses that focus on emerging technologies and innovative practices, further supporting IATSE members by equipping them with innovative skills. Additionally, AVIXA plans to expand its reach by offering more accessible and flexible learning options. According to the statement, this will ensure that all IATSE members have the opportunity to benefit from AVIXA’s comprehensive educational resources, says the organization.
