Palmer Digital Group (PDG), a supplier and installer of digital kiosks, drive-thru menu boards, and canopy systems, has announced the promotion of Chuck Lewis to President. Based in Aurora, Ill., PDG credits Lewis with driving the company’s rapid growth since its founding in 2018.
Chuck Lewis’s Role in PDG’s Early Success
As Vice President, Lewis played a pivotal role in establishing PDG’s B2B structure, focusing on business development and marketing within the quick-service restaurant (QSR) and fast-casual dining sectors. His efforts led to the creation of a streamlined product portfolio, a robust partner network and an in-house manufacturing operation. These strategies enabled PDG to deliver durable, modernized digital menu boards and kiosks with reduced lead times, fueling the company’s early success.
Expanding into New Growth Verticals
Building on this foundation, Lewis has expanded PDG’s reach into additional verticals, including retail, transportation, healthcare and education. These markets are expected to drive significant growth for the company in 2026 and beyond.
“The QSR business remains strong with an established product range that we continue to enhance with emerging technologies like voice AI for ordering,” says Lewis. “We’re also developing strategies to partner with organizations that have large footprints in retail and other key verticals as we expand our indoor and outdoor kiosk initiatives.”
Innovative Product Development Under Lewis’s Leadership
Lewis has overseen the development of innovative products, including a battery-powered mobile kiosk launched in 2025 and an AI-powered outdoor kiosk with an outdoor-rated speaker, set to debut at the National Restaurant Show in May.
PDG’s Installation Services: A Competitive Advantage
In addition to product innovation, PDG’s installation department has become a key differentiator in the market. Unlike many competitors, PDG offers end-to-end services, including permit acquisition, concrete work and electrical installations. This comprehensive approach reduces costs and lead times for customers while ensuring seamless deployments.
“Many of our competitors manufacture similar products but don’t handle installations,” Lewis explains. “End users increasingly want a single company to manage everything, and PDG delivers on that need. This gives us a significant edge in the market.”
Strengthening Project Management for Seamless Deployments
Under Lewis’s leadership, PDG has expanded its project management team to support local, regional and national deployments. This growth ensures that PDG can meet the needs of businesses across multiple industries.
Looking Ahead: PDG’s Vision for the Future
As President, Lewis plans to continue driving innovation and growth, leveraging PDG’s strengths to meet the evolving needs of its customers.
