Theory Audio Design, the premium audio brand, announced a significant upgrade to its product warranty program. Effective immediately, the new warranty policy extends coverage for all DLC loudspeaker controller models from its previous three years to five years, says Theory.

According to the statement, the Theory product ecosystem is founded on the concept of a dedicated DSP amplifier (amplified loudspeaker controller), which processes and optimizes the audio signal uniquely for each Theory loudspeaker model. Theory loudspeaker controllers and loudspeakers (as well as Pro Audio Technology loudspeakers) are developed in unison, and function together as a system.

By employing the most advanced DSP techniques within a closed system, Theory says it can ensure the highest performance possible and pledge that Theory (and PRO) loudspeakers are the most reliable on the market.

According to Theory, the DLC enhanced warranty coverage is a testament to the manufacturer’s confidence in the durability, reliability and build quality of its products. The company states it is confident in its advanced componentry, manufacturing processes and quality control measures, resulting in speaker systems that simply do not break and consistently exceed industry standards.

“Our commitment to our customers goes beyond the initial purchase,” says Marc Bertrand, CSO for Theory. “Offering a five-year warranty on Theory amplifiers and speakers provides our customers peace of mind that they are installing robust, long-lasting systems for any application — be it residential, commercial or live sound.”
