In this exclusive Commercial Integrator interview, Brett Arthur of Yealink discusses the MeetingBoard Pro. Arthur serves as director, key account sales, for the unified communication and collaboration solutions provider. During the conversation, Arthur examines how the MeetingBoard Pro is positioned in the market, as well as what’s new in the latest upgrade. Later, he describes what sets the MeetingBoard Pro apart from other solutions.
Yealink MeetingBoard Pro All-in-One Conferencing System
At the outset of the conversation, Arthur explains, “[MeetingBoard Pro is] an all-in-one conferencing system that combines videoconferencing, a touchscreen display [and] interactive whiteboard functionality into a single device.” It’s designed for meeting rooms that can support a fixed wall-mounted solution, or it can be mobile with a floorstand.
Arthur continues, “It supports an immersive meeting experience with features like our triple camera system with AI built in.” Elaborating further, he notes that the camera system is 50 megapixels with AI-driven features like IntelliFocus. This helps to focus on active speakers in the room. Auto-framing is another key capability.
Arthur also highlights the upgraded 16-microphone array. “[It] includes AI noise cancellation to block out those unwanted noises and distractions that may be happening in the room,” he says.
Plus, Arthur focuses on the interactive whiteboard, which fosters real-time collaboration and brainstorming. It’s suitable for use with tools like Microsoft Whiteboard. “In terms of connectivity,” he continues, “it supports both wired and wireless content-sharing options. And it comes in three sizes now: 65 inches, 75 inches and 86 inches.” Thus, the solution can support small, medium or large conference rooms.
Summing up, Arthur explains, “The MeetingBoard Pro is designed to provide a really powerful and intuitive all-in-one conferencing solution that enhances collaboration [and] communication to support today’s meeting spaces.”
