Augmenting its selection of headset and lavalier microphones, the newly announced Galaxy TREK wireless microphone has been designed for use in a variety of applications. [related]

The newly announced TREK wireless microphone operates on the 2.4GHz wireless spectrum, and the company says the TREK’s GT-R Receiver, which is included with the GT-V Lavalier and GT-S Headset system, plugs into users’ 3.5mm smart device inputs to provide clear audio for activities such as Skype and FaceTime calls.

Some of the other ways users can employ the TREK wireless microphone system include webcasting and podcasting.

Galaxy Audio explains that through the TREK’s ease of operation and physical design, the TREK’s lightweight receiver plugs into the 1/8-inch microphone input of video cameras to enable the production of quality videos for YouTube, Facebook Live and other web-related functions.

In addition to those usages, Galaxy Audio also states the TREK can be used in combination with the company’s GPS-8 and PA6BT products to form a solution that works with PA systems.

In these types of applications Galaxy Audio says integrators can build systems for teachers in classrooms, sports coaches, corporate presenters, auctioneers, religious leaders and party announcers to be heard without the tethers of wired microphones.
