Shure has announced limited-time offers on a variety of products to kick off the holiday shopping season.
The Shure holiday promos will be effective on select products through Dec. 31 and available at time of purchase at select authorized dealers throughout the U.S.
Customers can get instant discounts on microphones in the MOTIV digital microphones and recording solutions family. That includes $50 off MVi, $20 off MV88, $20 off MV5 (black or silver), $50 off MV51 and $10 off MVL.
Other discounts on microphones include $10 off SM58-CN, $10 off SM58-LC, $10 off SM58S, $10 off SM58-X2U, $10 off SM57-LC, $10 off SM57-X2 and $30 off DMK57-52.
Shure also has offers tied to its headphones, earphones and wireless systems through the promotion.
“We are delighted to provide our customers with special offers on a variety of our most popular models during the holiday season,” said Abby Kaplan, senior director of the retail group at Shure.
“By offering rebates that are compelling and valuable, we hope to continue building deeper relationships with our loyal customers.”
In the past year, Shure microphones have been used in a variety of applications, including inside a jailhouse as part of a reality show. In addition, leaders have been among the most outspoken on the FCC wireless spectrum discussion.
Shure debuted its ULX-D and QLX-D systems that are capable of operating in the 900-MHz, DECT and 2.4-GHz ranges in 2016.
Nick Wood, category director for wireless products at Shure, says installed-systems providers will be able to expect the same level of performance from new wireless microphone products that are being adapted to the new spectral realities from major manufacturers.

“The tools are still going to be with the same sound quality and predictability to access other frequencies, like 2.4 GHz and 900 MHz,” he says.
Mark Brunner, the company’s point person on spectrum reallocation, points out that integrators in different cities and regions will experience the reallocation process in different ways.
