Well known projector manufacturer Digital Projection International (DPI) surprised the AV integration industry when it revealed at the 2017 NSCA Business & Leadership Conference that it is getting into the LED business with its Radiance LED line. Now it’s expanding that platform to include a 1.2 mm pixel-pitch solution.
The new addition provides what Digital Projection calls “superb resolution, color, brightness and contrast,” so “Radiance 1.2 is a remarkable display for any indoor environment,” according to the company press release.
“A powerful alternative for visual entertainment in areas with medium to high ambient light, Radiance LED’s scalability allows architects and AV designers to imagine and implement seamless displays in nearly limitless shapes, sizes and resolutions,” according to the Digital Projection announcement.
“Because each panel is based on a standard 16:9 aspect ratio, systems can easily be designed to present HD, UHD and even 8K+ resolutions.”
