ZeeVee has announced a firmware update to its ZyPer Management Platform. With the update that’s available now, the new Management Platform 1.6 supports ZyPer products, including ZyPer4K, ZyPerHD.
The Littleton, Mass.-based AV distribution solutions provider says the firmware update also supports the upcoming launch of ZyPerUHD, which ZeeVee calls its latest IP- based distribution platform that delivers ultra-low latency, compressed video with up to 4K resolution using an off-the-shelf 1Gb Ethernet switch.
Management Platform 1.6 supports enhanced features to improve the user experience and management of content sources to displays, video walls, and multi-view capabilities, according to a ZeeVee press release.

ZeeVee adds that additional releases are planned for Q4 that will allow an administrator the ability to create additional users, assign set privileges and levels of control to access and manage their ZyPer IP solutions.
