Dream Vision Short-Throw Laser Projector Produces 4,000 Lumens

Newly introduced UST-4000HDi laser projector from Dream Vision delivers a 100-inch picture from as close as a foot from a wall surface.

Over the past several years the projection market has been implementing technologies such as LED and laser-based light engines to minimize the maintenance requirements and total cost of product ownership.

Throughout this period, these technologies have matured rapidly and today they offer the public some of the best images ever produced with a reliability track record that is hard to beat.

Adding to the market selection of solid-state projection products is the French company Dream Vision, which is once again available to U.S. dealers through the importer/distributor Integrity High Fidelity Solutions.

Dream Vision’s newly announced UST25-4000HDi is a short-throw laser projector designed to be used in locations as diverse as residential multimedia rooms, schools, museums, businesses, control rooms, hotels, yachts and sports bars.

The UST25-4000HDi is capable of producing up to 4,000 lumens. Through its short 0.25:1 short-throw projection ratio, it can deliver a 100-inch picture from as close as a foot from a wall surface. The French manufacturer points out installation placement is further aided through the projector’s small size to enable dealers to place it in millwork locations below the screen or wall and ceiling locations above the screen.

Through its laser technologies, the projector is able to deliver up to 20,000 hours of operational life if run in its full-brightness mode and up to 30,000 hours of operational life if run in its eco-mode setting. Dream Vision notes the projector takes eight seconds to warm up to full picture levels and turns off just as quickly with no cool-down needed.

Weighing just over 15 pounds, the projector also incorporates two HDMI inputs, a USB input, and a choice of other input options. Dream Vision supports the projector with an optional WonderWall finger-touch interactive kit that, when combined with its embedded WonderWall camera, provides users with an interactive video solution in commercial applications.
