Galaxy Audio recently introduced the Powered Micro Spot (model MSPA5).
The MSPA5 “incorporates design features of both the PA6S Powered Hot Spot and Powered Nano Spot, while maintaining a compact design,” according to a press release announcing its immediate availability.
The Micro Spot Series “is designed for a wide array of applications: churches, schools, courtrooms, fixed installations or on stage,” according to the Galaxy Audio press release.
The MSPA5 is powered by a 100-watt amplifier, “delivering quality sound through the specially designed 5-inch full range ceramic speaker, providing superior vocal clarity,” according to the announcement. The Powered Micro Spot will accept mic or line level with its XLR (+48V phantom power), 1/4-inch or 1/8-inch input.
Volume and EQ controls are located on the front panel of the MSPA5 and the built-in compressor/limiter helps prevent signal clipping. The Powered Micro Spot can be mounted to a mic stand or a wall/ceiling mounting bracket with the included hardware.
Galaxy Audio MSPA5 Powered Micro Spot is available from all Galaxy Audio dealers and distributors with a starting price of $199.99.
