Preparing for the annual commercial industry trade event InfoComm is the Mount Vernon, N.Y.-based manufacturer Key Digital.
The company has just released its new Phantom Series solutions, the KD-HD-HD2x1ProK and KD-HD4x1ProK HDMI Switchers with Audio De-Embedder and 4K support.
These latest products from Key Digital can be used by dealers to address residential and commercial A/V installations. Not only do these products perform video switching, they also de-embed audio from the HDMI input and send that de-embedded audio to external digital or analog audio outputs.
The N.Y.-based manufacturer says the products de-embed analog audio via 3.5mm stereo ports while also supporting two-channel analog audio. They use the SPDIF format to support two-channel PCM, Dolby and DTS digital audio.
Looking specifically at the KD-HD2x1ProK, it incorporates a pair of HDMI inputs and a single HDMI output. The KD-HD4x1ProK features four HDMI inputs and a single HDMI output. Both products support SD, HD and VESA up to UltraHD 4K resolutions.
In addition, both also have the ability to pass 3D stereoscopic signals. Each offer a choice of control options such as IR sensor, serial IR and RS-232.
